Laboratories & Facilities
Students have access to every facility in the form of eight well-equipped labs. These are: ⇨ Structures Lab ⇨ Computer Lab ⇨ Soil mechanics Lab ⇨ Geotechnology Lab ⇨ Fluid mechanics Lab ⇨ Concrete Lab ⇨ Transportation Lab ⇨ Survey Lab ⇨ Environmental Engineering Lab The Civil Engineering Department has the latest version of STAD-PRO software by Bentley, which is used for design of the sophisticated multistory structures, bridges, tunnels, under passes and many more civil works. The students are provided extensive hands-on experience in various laboratories of the Department.

Project Work and Training
The students of Civil Engineering take practical training after 4th semester through a Survey camp and after 6th semester 6 weeks practical training at construction projects e.g. Multistory building projects, road and construction, irrigation and hydropower plants. Further, they work on various projects during 7th & 8th semesters. Students are also taken for industrial visits to various projects.
